Dr Adam Humphries is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and specialist endoscopist at St Mark’s Hospital, Harrow, an internationally recognised centre of excellence for intestinal disorders and endoscopy. He is the Clinical Lead for Endoscopy and his specialist interests include luminal gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, bowel cancer screening endoscopy, video capsule endoscopy and double-balloon enteroscopy. Dr Humphries also leads the small bowel endoscopy service at St Mark’s Hospital, a national referral centre and one of only a few sites in the UK that provides double-balloon enteroscopy for the diagnosis and treatment of small bowel diseases
Dr Humphries qualified from Imperial College Medical School in 2002 and undertook his specialist gastroenterology training within London from 2005-2013. He then completed a fellowship in advanced and small bowel endoscopy at St Mark’s Hospital before being appointed to the Consultant staff in 2014.
I am married with three children and enjoy many sports, including squash, running and skiing.
