OUR SERVICES EXPLAINED

Situated at 119 Harley Street, our dedicated eye centre is based in the heart of London’s premier medical district, beside the main Clinic which houses our inpatient and theatre facilities.

Our eye centre provides access to the latest medical equipment for the examination, diagnosis and treatment of eye disorders.

Depending on your needs, this may include consultant surgeons and physicians, orthoptists, optometrists, medical photographers and nursing staff. All of our consultant ophthalmologists are leaders in their field and most hold teaching posts in London NHS teaching hospitals.

Should your patient require more complex surgical procedures, they will be performed within The London Clinic main hospital, in our theatre suites with the support of experienced multi-disciplined clinicians.

The London Clinic consultants have the experience and knowledge to perform a wide range of different surgical procedures
to treat all severity of eye conditions, such as:

SURGICAL PROCEDURES IN OUR MAIN HOSPITAL THEATRES

  • Cataract extraction
  • Corneal grafting
  • Glaucoma surgery
  • Plastic/cosmetic eye surgery
  • Retinal detachment
  • Squint correction
  • Vitreoretinal surgical procedures

BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT

Patients require a referral letter from their optician or GP to book an appointment with one of The London Clinic’s consultants. If a patient has private medical insurance, they should contact their provider to check that treatment is covered.

We offer a self-pay option for patients without private medical insurance, or if their treatment is not covered by their insurance.

Our self-pay team can provide patients with guide prices for a range of treatments at the Eye Centre.

The London Clinic also accepts patients who are sponsored by their company or embassy. Once the sponsor has been approved and provided a letter of guarantee, The London Clinic will be happy to settle the account with them directly.
