Male Breast Reduction (gynaecomastia)
Many men suffer from excess breast tissue
which can give the impression of male breasts. Male breast
reduction is a simple procedure to restore the chest area to normal
proportions.
Process
You will require a general anaesthetic and
overnight stay.
Your surgery will depend on the reduction
required. Smaller areas of excess fat in this area can be removed
by liposuction, for the removal of larger amounts of male breast
tissue, a combination of liposuction and surgical skin removal will
be performed.
Post-surgery
The success of the procedure requires that you
wear the post-surgery pressure garment as directed by your surgeon
and that you maintain a healthy diet and exercise routine so as not
to gain or lose significant amounts of weight.
