Scar Revision
There are many factors that affect the
severity of scarring, including depth, size of wound, thickness and
colour of your skin. No scar can be removed completely,
however our consultants can improve the appearance of a scar
through injections, IPL laser treatments or through surgical
procedures known as scar revision.
Process
The procedure will take from 30 minutes to 2
hours to complete depending on the extent of the procedure
(surgical/non-surgical)
Recovery
As you heal keep in mind that no scar can be
removed completely and the improvement depends on the size and
direction of your scar, the nature of your skin and how well you
care for your wound,
Final results may not be apparent for a year
or more as the wound heals
