London Acute Care
The London Clinic is able to offer urgent medical care through
our partners London Acute
Care. They offer bespoke critical medical care to patients in
central London.
London Acute Care provides an exclusive, 24
hour complete healthcare service. Based at 5 Devonshire Place, W1,
this network of consultants and GPs offers round the clock access
to a range of medical services in the heart of London’s medical
community. These services include easy access to general
practitioners, house calls, radiology, consultant appointments and
private medical and surgical care in hospitals in central
London.
Although London Acute Care aims to arrange
admissions to The London Clinic whenever possible, they are fully
supported by the clinical expertise of staff and facilities at a
number of London hospitals. They provide 24 hour, 7 days a week
hospital access.
The team is well equipped to provide urgent
care and are led in their respective areas by:
- - Dr Ettlinger is a
General Practitioner with a special interest in house calls,
continuity of
- care, occupational health and quick diagnosis.
- - Dr Romete, also a
General Practitioner, specialises in women’s health, paediatrics,
adult
- medicine, occupational health and acupuncture.
- - Dr Glynne, a
Consultant Physician, practices general medicine with an expertise
in acute,
- perioperative and intensive care medicine amongst his
additional specialities.
- - Mr Shankar is a
Consultant General Surgeon specialising in Emergency surgery. He
leads
- the surgical team which comprises Consultants in all
surgical specialities.
London Acute Care also provides a 24 hour
diagnostic imaging service. They work in partnership with The
London Clinic to provide urgent access to X-rays, MRIs, CT scans or
any interventional radiological procedures.
