Our consultants are leaders in their respective fields; almost all hold NHS teaching posts and all appear on the UK’s General Medical Council (GMC) Specialist Register. To gain practising privileges at The London Clinic our consultants must meet rigorous standards set out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), as well as our own stringent selection procedures.
We also have senior doctors, clinical fellows and Resident Medical Officers (RMOs) on site 24 hours a day to provide medical attention around the clock.
We have over 1000 experienced nursing, clinical and support staff. For each clinical specialty within the hospital we employ experienced nurses who have completed further post-registration training. We also have a number of Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) in the areas of pain management, infection control, endocrinology and diabetes, gynaecology, colorectal, urology, liver and breast care.
In addition to our quality of care and expertise, we are committed to providing our patients with access to the latest, most reliable diagnostic and treatment technology available. Our CyberKnife, DaVinci robotic surgery system and state-of-the-art radiology scanners and pathology laboratory mean we have the cutting-edge technology you would expect from a modern, vibrant hospital.
We have a 24 hour consultant-led Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and critical care outreach team, as well as dedicated, specialist ICU fellows who provide 24 hour support to our consultants and nursing teams. This enables us to meet any need for immediate care, day or night.
Our teams of support staff are passionate about patient care, from our innovative chefs to our friendly, welcoming housekeeping staff. Making our patients feel comfortable, safe and looked-after is our first priority.
