Date: 20 November 2015

The Trustees of The London Clinic private hospital are delighted to announce that Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall has graciously agreed to become Patron of the hospital for an initial five-year term from October 2015.

The London Clinic is a charitable institution which offers a wide range of surgical, medical and diagnostic services. It has a rolling programme of capital developments aimed at improving and expanding the existing facilities for patients. The London Clinic was opened in 1932 by The Duke and Duchess of York, afterwards King George VI and Queen Elizabeth.

In 2010 Her Majesty The Queen opened a new wing of the hospital dedicated to the treatment of patients with cancer. We are honoured that in accepting the Patronage of The London Clinic, Her Royal Highness will be continuing the royal association with London’s largest independent hospital.
