Chief Executive announces intention to retire in 2011

Malcolm Miller, Chief Executive of The London
Clinic has announced his intention to retire, after 20 years of
service at the UK’s largest independent hospital.
He has overseen the growth of The Clinic from
revenues of £22m, to £103m in 2009, whilst net assets have risen
from under £1m to £128m in the same period. At the same time The
Clinic has established an International reputation in the acute
care of patients.

Malcolm’s retirement will be late in 2011 depending upon the
selection process for his successor. In the meantime he has
committed to fulfil the role right up to his departure date with no
diminution in effort and no decision making being put off or
delayed – it will be business as usual!
Mr Miller
comments; “It was always my intention to retire from my
position of Chief Executive when the major task of seeing the
Cancer Centre completed and making a financial contribution, and
getting the redevelopment of the main hospital under way.”

London Clinic for the past 18 years. During that time the Clinic
has grown into one of the leading private hospitals in the world.
