Chief Executive announces intention to retire in 2011

Malcolm Miller, Chief Executive of The London Clinic has announced his intention to retire, after 20 years of service at the UK’s largest independent hospital.

 

He has overseen the growth of The Clinic from revenues of £22m, to £103m in 2009, whilst net assets have risen from under £1m to £128m in the same period. At the same time The Clinic has established an International reputation in the acute care of patients.

Malcolm’s retirement will be late in 2011 depending upon the selection process for his successor.  In the meantime he has committed to fulfil the role right up to his departure date with no diminution in effort and no decision making being put off or delayed – it will be business as usual!

Chairman of The London Clinic, Mr Michael Abrahams CBE DL says; “Malcolm has been Chief Executive of The London Clinic for the past 18 years. During that time the Clinic has grown into one of the leading private hospitals in the world. The Trustees are deeply grateful to him for his long years of inspired leadership and his total commitment to our affairs.”
