Marylebone Village Summer Fayre
14 June 2009

The Marylebone Village Summer Fayre, organised by the Howard de
Walden Estate, took place on Sunday 14 June 2009 in the heart of
Marylebone. The London Clinic was once again delighted to host a
stand at this hugely popular, fun family event.
The focus of our stand was on The London
Clinic’s new cancer centre, located across from the main hospital
on Devonshire Place, in the heart of London’s medical
community.
Visitors to our stand had the unique
opportunity to learn more about the cancer centre through our
‘flythrough’ virtual tour and various information brochures and
posters on display.

There was also the opportunity for visitors to
speak to our specially trained cancer support nurses.
The Clinic’s stand was very family friendly
and attracted over 1,000 visitors with competitions, a children’s
fake tattoo parlour, promotional bags, collection boxes, banners
and balloons. It was a hugely successful day,
with various colleagues from different fields
of expertise representing The London Clinic.
Through donation boxes and fundraising on the
day, The Clinic was also pleased to raise over £500 for The Teenage
Cancer Trust.
The London Clinic Cancer Centre is due to open
in winter 2009.
