Fiona Jones - Clinical Nurse Specialist
Fiona Jones is a registered nurse with 15 years’ experience in Critical Care nursing and specialises in liver diseases.
She has worked as a Practice Development Nurse in the largest liver unit in Europe where she was instrumental in developing key pathways for the care of patients following liver surgery and the development of nurse competencies.
She guest lectures on university programmes on post graduate education about liver diseases and transplantation and has published in the subject.
She proceeded to become a liver transplant coordinator responsible for coordinating solid organ transplants and then the living donor liver transplant coordinator. She was also responsible for providing pre-assessment and follow-up care for the entire patient journey.
Fiona has a huge experience looking after patients with a range of liver diseases including the medical and surgical management of such patients.
Fiona is now our Clinical Nurse Specialist for Hepatology at The London Clinic.
