David Floyd graduated from Cambridge
University in 1985 and completed his medical degree at University
College London in 1988. Following 4 years of General Surgical
training he gained his FRCS in 1993. In 1995 he was awarded a
Masters degree for his research into scarring and wound
healing.
His Plastic Surgery training was obtained in various London
plastic surgery units including, University College, Queen
Victoria, Mount Vernon, Charing Cross and Chelsea & Westminster
Hospitals. Specialist interests were developed with
fellowships at Great Ormond Street Hospital in paediatric plastic
surgery, The Royal Marsden Hospital in breast reconstruction and
The Wellington Hospital in cosmetic surgery. He passed the
FRCS (Plast) in 2001.
