Mrs Hussain qualified in 1980 and recieved her clinical training at The Middlesex Hospital, Kings College, The City Hospital Nottingham and the Royal Free Hospital. She undertook her Senior Registrar training in the West Middlesex/Chelsea Westminster Hospital.
Mrs Hussain has been a Consultant Gynaecologist at Whipps Cross University Hospital since 1995. As off 2012 she has moved into full time Private Practice.
Her research was in Premenstrual tension and she achieved a PhD from London University. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Her special interest is urogynaecology and deals with incontinence and prolapse of the uterus and vagina.
She also has an interest in heavy periods and fibroids and the menopause. She also deals with benign ovarian cysts and endometriosis.
She performs minimal invasive surgery (key hole) where appropriate.
She will also offers a general gynaecological check-ups and cervical smear and screening.
