Zameer trained at Kings College, London. He undertook his surgical training in Cambridge, Oxford and London, including a period as a Research Fellow at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, undertaking work in the use of Stem Cells. Zameer was selected as the International Fellow at the prestigious Insall Scott Kelly Institute and the world famous Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He completed his Fellowship at Guy’s Hospital and was trained in all aspects of Hip and Knee Surgery.
During his clinical training Zameer completed a MBA at Imperial College London and a Diploma in Sports Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons. His work there focussed on measuring and improving healthcare performance and quality. Zameer is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at King's College London and has an active role teaching and lecturing.
Outside work Zameer enjoys numerous sports including football, cricket, tennis, badminton and mountaineering. Zameer also enjoys travelling, reading and history, and is currently trying to learn to play the piano. Zameer lives with his family in London.
