Currently I am posted at the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust as a Consultant Urological and Renal Transplant Surgeon with a special interest in laparoscopic kidney cancer surgery including nephrone sparig surgery(partial nephrectomy).
My medical training started in Damascus, my home town, with a MD at Damascus Univerisity qualifying in 1978, followed by my MS in General Surgery at the Damascus University in 1982.
I then came over to the UK where I have settled with my family to complete my MS General Surgery in Scotland in 1989, Diploma in Urology at the University College London in 1993, FRCS(Urology) London in 1999 and Consultant Urological Surgeon in 1996. The Royal Free Hopsital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, Institute of Urology, Charing Cross Hospital and St Mary's Hospital in London are the hospitals in which I did my training.
