Having worked in General Surgery he then went on to train in Otolaryngology in the North Thames Region. This included the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear and Great Ormond Street Hospitals.
Initially he trained in Otology but later developed an interest in Head and Neck Cancer and the Larynx.
He obtained the Intercollegiate Fellowship in Otolaryngology (FRCS ORL-HNS) in 2001 and a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in 2011.
Mr Sandhu is an ENT Surgeon and Honorary Senior lecturer both at Imperial and University Colleges London.
He is also an ENT Surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster and The Royal Brompton Hospitals.
Mr Sandhu has over 70 peer reviewed research publications and has written 8 book chapters.
He lectures nationally and internationally. Mr Sandhu sees both adults and children with Ear Nose and Throat problems.
He has a large number of referrals from the music industry, media and stage and is ENT Surgeon to The Royal Society of Music. He has appeared on television and radio.
